Why AI, why now

Small firms are already starting

AI is moving from experiment to everyday tool. The firms that set it up properly now will spend less time on admin and more time with clients.

28%

of UK businesses with 0 to 9 employees report using at least one AI technology.

Not knowing where to start

Difficulty identifying where AI could help, cost and a lack of expertise are the most commonly reported barriers to adopting AI.

Is this for you?

If any of these sound familiar, we can help

You don't need to be technical. We start with the work that takes up your time, then show you where AI genuinely helps — and where it shouldn't be used.

An AI Health Check is a low-cost way to find out what would make the biggest difference for your firm.

  • You spend hours on emails, letters or reports
  • Your team tried ChatGPT, but no one uses it properly
  • You're worried about staff putting client data into AI
  • You know AI could help, but don't know where to start

In practice

From long documents to clear next steps

We start with the paperwork and admin that slows you down, then set up AI assistants to draft, summarise and organise it — with a person checking anything that matters.

  • Summaries of long reports and guidance
  • First drafts of emails, letters and policies
  • Meeting notes turned into action lists

Our approach

Careful with client data from day one

Grow Digital was founded by a compliance professional with 12+ years in UK financial services (quality assurance, compliance, financial crime). That background shapes how we approach AI: useful, but with sensible controls.

We help you think through data protection and UK GDPR in practical terms, but we're not lawyers and this isn't legal advice. If your firm is regulated, we'll work alongside your compliance lead or your regulator's guidance.

What that means in practice

  • We start by understanding what information your firm handles.
  • We recommend business plans and settings that stop your data being used to train AI models, where the tool allows it.
  • We agree clear red lines — for example, no client personal data, passwords or bank details in tools that aren't approved for it.
  • AI drafts, people decide: every output that matters is checked by a person.
  • We work in your accounts. We don't copy your business data into ours.

FAQ

AI onboarding questions

Is it safe for client data?

It can be, with the right tool, plan and settings — and clear rules. We recommend business plans where your data isn't used to train AI models, switch on the right privacy settings, and give your team a short safe-use policy covering what can and can't go into an AI tool. We're not lawyers, so regulated firms should also follow their regulator's guidance.

Which tools do you use?

ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. If your firm already runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot is often the natural fit; otherwise ChatGPT or Claude. We'll recommend one based on how you work and the data you handle.

Do we need paid AI subscriptions?

For business use, yes. Paid business plans give you the privacy controls and features you need. Subscriptions are paid directly by you to the provider and aren't included in our prices.

How long does setup take?

We aim to have your AI assistants set up within a week of our first call, depending on how quickly we can get access to your tools and examples of your documents.

Can you train remotely?

Yes. Training runs by video, so we can work with firms anywhere in the UK. Sessions can be booked early in the morning, in the evening or on a Saturday, so they don't eat into client time.

What if we already use ChatGPT?

That's a good head start. We'll check your plan and settings, set up AI assistants for the tasks you do most, and agree clear rules so everyone uses it the same, safe way.
