Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Grow Digital UK ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and your rights under UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Grow Digital UK is a small business based in Manchester, UK, providing websites, AI onboarding and social media management. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@growdigitaluk.com.
What we collect
When you use our contact form
We collect your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you're interested in, and your message.
Our contact form is processed by Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), a third-party form service. When you submit the form, your details are sent to Formspree, which stores them and forwards them to us by email. Formspree is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK. Formspree acts as our processor and uses appropriate safeguards for international transfers. You can read Formspree's privacy policy.
When you contact us directly
If you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or contact us through Instagram or Facebook, we receive your name, contact details and anything you send us. WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are operated by Meta, which processes your messages under its own privacy policies.
When you become a client
We keep the information we need to deliver our services and run our business, such as contact details, project notes, correspondence, invoices and payment records.
When you visit this website
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. Some photos on our home and work pages are loaded from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), so your browser also shares your IP address with Unsplash to download them. See our cookie policy for more.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call (legitimate interests).
- To provide the services you've asked for and manage our contract with you (contract).
- To keep financial and tax records (legal obligation).
- To keep our website and systems secure (legitimate interests).
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you've asked us to keep in touch. You can ask us to stop at any time.
AI tools and client data
When we help a business set up AI tools, we work in the client's own accounts wherever possible. We don't copy clients' business or customer data into our own AI accounts, and we don't put personal information from enquiries into AI tools.
Social media access
For social media clients, we access Facebook and Instagram through Meta Business Suite partner access. We never ask for or store your passwords.
Who we share information with
We only share personal information with service providers who help us run the business, such as Formspree (contact form), our email provider, our web host, and our accounting software. If a project needs a trusted specialist, we only share what they need for that project, and they must keep it confidential. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To use any of these rights, email info@growdigitaluk.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if anything changes, for example if we start using analytics. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
